Collaborative Consumption: Reasons for a Debate

The aim of this article is to present the current debate about the concept of collaborative economy and his more known practice: the collaborative consumption. Also in the text are explained the reasons of the success of this issue: his relation with the economy of networks, his attraction for social mobilized groups and his growth like defensive practices of consumption during the financial contemporary crisis. Finally there are analysed the dangers of denaturalization of the concept and his relation with the space of the private, public and common goods; doing a warning on the need of make a not idealized reflection about the potentials, and also about the limits, of the different forms of collaborative consumption.Downloads
