Efeitos de um programa de conscientização sobre deficiência na Educação Física

Resumo

A Educação Física está em uma posição privilegiada para gerar hábitos saudáveis ​​e duradouros de atividade física nos jovens. Nesse contexto, a satisfação das variáveis ​​psicológicas de competência, autonomia, relacionamento e novidade podem ser fundamentais para que os alunos tenham experiências positivas que desencadeiem um alto nível de comprometimento com a atividade física. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi analisar o efeito de um programa de conscientização sobre deficiência em educação física sobre as variáveis ​​psicológicas dos participantes. O estudo adotou um desenho quase experimental, sem grupo controle e com medidas pré e pós-teste. Participaram da pesquisa 312 alunos entre 11 e 18 anos (174 homens e 138 mulheres). Os resultados mostraram um aumento nos valores das variáveis ​​autonomia e novidade após a aplicação do programa. Pelo contrário, a proporção diminuiu significativamente. Não foram encontradas diferenças nas variáveis ​​competência e comprometimento. Em conclusão, os programas que promovem a educação física inclusiva devem continuar a ser melhorados e aplicados de forma a melhorar a motivação dos alunos e, consequentemente, a sua adesão à atividade física.
