Existe uma relação entre a posição de ciclismo e o aparecimento de dor lombar? Uma revisão sistemática

Este trabalho analisou a relação entre a posição de flexão mantida durante o ciclismo e a possível relação com a lombalgia. Foi realizada revisão sistemática por meio do processo PRISMA® entre 2015-2020, nas bases de dados PubMed, PEDro, Scopus e Web of Science, utilizando os termos; "Ciclismo", "ciclista", "posição", "posicionamento", "lesão por uso excessivo", "biomecânica da coluna", "região lombar", "dor lombar". Foram selecionados cinco artigos que atenderam a todos os critérios de inclusão. Os artigos selecionados mostraram mudanças na inclinação pélvica, ângulos de flexão do tronco em golpes médios e baixos do guidão da bicicleta de estrada e mountain bike, variações do assento mais alto ou encosto da posição adequada de acordo com o comprimento da virilha, posição do joelho 40º e tronco 35º simultaneamente quando o pedal está em 180º, enquanto em posição anatômica foram descritos; O ângulo máximo de inclinação pélvica na anteversão, o ângulo máximo de inclinação pélvica na retroversão e o ângulo máximo de flexão lombar estão associados a dor ou desconforto na região lombar. No entanto, é possível estabelecer que a associação entre o ciclismo e a lombalgia não foi suficientemente estudada, o que nos leva a inferir que surge a necessidade de atualização das informações a fim de prevenir este tipo de lesões associadas à posição no ciclismo.
