Recesso organizado como estratégia para melhorar os níveis de atividade física e a condição física em adolescentes escolares

Resumo

Resumo. O objetivo do estudo foi identificar os efeitos de uma intervenção durante o intervalo escolar sobre a condição física e a atividade física em uma amostra de adolescentes chilenos. Participaram 50 escolares voluntários (27 meninas), com média de 14,2 ± 1,3 anos. Grupo controle (n = 21) e grupo intervenção (n = 29). As atividades guiadas foram realizadas no pátio da escola durante os dois intervalos da manhã por 12 semanas. Foram avaliados o teste de ida e volta de 20m, dinamometria manual, composição corporal, questionário PAQ-A e acelerometria. O grupo intervenção (GI) apresentou melhor nível de atividade física do que o grupo controle (GC), durante os intervalos, aula de Educação Física, almoço e mais etapas / dia (p <0,05). Concluindo, a participação ativa durante os intervalos pode aumentar minutos de atividade física moderada-vigorosa e melhorar a aptidão cardiorrespiratória.
