Psicomotricidade, desenvolvimento infantil e testes psicomotores: uma análise da investigação científica na Scopus

Introdução: Os avanços na literatura científica nas áreas da psicomotricidade, desenvolvimento infantil e testes psicomotores evidenciaram uma tendência crescente na produção académica durante o período 2020-2025.
Objectivo: Este estudo teve como objectivo analisar esta produção através da análise bibliométrica na base de dados SCOPUS.
Método: As equações de pesquisa utilizaram descritores-chave como “psicomotricidade”, “desenvolvimento infantil” e “teste psicomotor”, resultando num total de 25.174 documentos registados. Observou-se um aumento notável da produção científica durante os anos de 2023 a 2025, concentrando 69% do total de publicações neste período.
Resultados: Após a revisão documental, observou-se que uma grande percentagem correspondia a artigos de investigação (85%). Em relação às áreas de estudo, com 58,55% a área educacional lidera a lista, enquanto a psicologia e a neurociência ocupam o segundo e terceiro lugar com 13,70% e 19,05% respetivamente. Os países que mais se destacaram na divulgação do conhecimento científico foram a Inglaterra e os Estados Unidos. A América Latina teve uma quota menor na comparação, com o Uruguai a liderar a produção regional com 1.022 documentos. O estudo refletiu o inglês como língua mais frequente, destacando a necessidade de promover o espanhol como língua de divulgação científica para ampliar a sua visibilidade.
Conclusão: Os resultados destacam a importância de continuar a promover a investigação nestas áreas e de reforçar a cooperação internacional para consolidar redes académicas e aumentar a produção científica em regiões com menor representação.
