Resumo

Introdução: O Programa Nacional de Desenvolvimento do Futebol (NFDP) na Malásia é uma iniciativa abrangente destinada a melhorar a qualidade do futebol através de um treino estruturado e do desenvolvimento dos jogadores, com especial enfoque na participação dos jovens.
Objectivo: Este estudo visa desenvolver um modelo de treino baseado em pequenos jogos (SSG) especificamente concebido para o contexto cultural e social da Malásia.
Metodologia: Este estudo utilizou uma metodologia de investigação qualitativa, especificamente utilizando a abordagem da teoria fundamentada evoluída de Strauss e Corbin. Os dados foram recolhidos (n = 14) junto dos treinadores do NFDP em cada estado da Malásia através de entrevistas abertas semiestruturadas e aprofundadas. As entrevistas foram gravadas, transcritas, observadas e os documentos analisados ​​exatamente como foram contabilizados no software Atlas.ti 8.0.
Resultados: Os resultados deste estudo indicam que o treino apresenta quatro etapas de implementação de jogos reduzidos no Programa Nacional de Desenvolvimento do Futebol, nomeadamente, implementação, melhoria, reimplementação e modificação.
Conclusão: Este modelo fornecerá informações para o desenvolvimento de jogadores de futebol juvenil na Malásia. Portanto, esta conclusão ajudará as partes interessadas e os treinadores do NFDP em áreas específicas que podem ser melhoradas para o desenvolvimento dos jovens jogadores de futebol na Malásia.
