Otimize a recuperação: como o alongamento FNP e a massagem com gelo aliviam os marcadores DOMS?

Resumo

A dor muscular de início tardio (DMIT) é um problema comum para indivíduos treinados e não treinados, que se desenvolve após exercícios excêntricos ou não acostumados. O grande número de casos de DMIT e os resultados variáveis ​​das pesquisas relacionadas à prevenção e tratamento da DMIT implicam a importância da pesquisa na prevenção eficaz da DMIT. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi investigar os efeitos pós-exercício da combinação de alongamento de Facilitação Neuromuscular Proprioceptiva (FNP) e massagem com gelo sobre marcadores de dano muscular induzido pelo exercício (DMIT). Trinta e nove indivíduos entre 15 e 17 anos foram aleatoriamente designados para os grupos experimental ou controle. Os indivíduos realizaram treinamento em circuito com DMIT induzido por exercício. O grupo experimental foi submetido a 18 minutos de alongamento FNP e 16 minutos de massagem com gelo, administrada 2 horas após o exercício. O grupo controle não recebeu nenhum tratamento. Os parâmetros da DMIT (dor muscular, creatina quinase/CK, aspartato aminotransferase/AST, neutrófilos) e a escala funcional dos membros inferiores (LEFS) foram avaliados em 0 e 24 horas após a DMIT induzida pelo exercício. Diferentes testes paramétricos e não paramétricos foram utilizados na análise dos dados. Os grupos experimentais apresentaram redução nos sintomas de DMIT na forma de menos dor muscular e AST, melhor LEFS em comparação aos grupos controle (p < 0,05), mas não para creatina quinase e neutrófilos (p > 0,05), o que é um. indicador de dano tecidual. Concluindo, a combinação de alongamentos FNP pós-exercício e massagem com gelo foi eficaz na redução da gravidade da DMIT, mas não foi capaz de preveni-la
