Estratégia de serviço no tênis profissional de duplas femininas – uma perspectiva baseada em dados

Este estudo teve como objetivo identificar as variáveis mais determinantes que influenciam a eficácia do primeiro saque em partidas de duplas femininas utilizando um modelo de treinamento de aprendizagem profunda. Foram classificados 4.939 primeiros saques de 145 jogadores de acordo com sua eficácia, pertencentes às partidas da Billie Jean King Cup. Os dados do sistema Hawkeye foram filtrados e processados para obtenção de estatísticas descritivas das variáveis preditoras espaço-temporais e, posteriormente, foram calculadas as variáveis mais importantes para a efetividade do primeiro atendimento. O ângulo do saque foi a característica que obteve maior relevância, juntamente com a velocidade e distância do salto da bola até as linhas laterais, independente do lado onde o saque foi executado. O modelo de treinamento mostrou que valores de ângulo de serviço entre 5,5º-8,7º aumentaram a eficácia, passando de 22,2% para 48,5% no lado Even, e de 17,3% para 45,7% no lado Advantage. Estes resultados não só se alinham com as pesquisas existentes sobre o tênis profissional masculino, tanto em modalidades individuais quanto em duplas, mas também oferecem valiosa orientação tática e de treinamento. As informações obtidas neste estudo visam aprimorar metodologias de treinamento e estratégias de jogo, proporcionando uma vantagem estratégica na seleção de serviços durante a competição.
