Relação entre níveis de motivação para o exercício e qualidade de vida durante a aposentadoria do esporte de elite

Não há muitas pesquisas examinando a vida de atletas aposentados. Esta investigação tem como objetivo determinar o nível de motivação para treinar na reforma, a qualidade de vida em ex-atletas e a relação entre motivação para treinar e qualidade de vida em ex-atletas. Os sujeitos desta pesquisa foram atletas aposentados com idade entre 25 e 60 anos. Os sujeitos envolvidos nesta pesquisa foram 81 atletas pencak silat aposentados, compostos por 42 homens e 39 mulheres. Esta pesquisa trata-se de uma pesquisa quantitativa descritiva com abordagem de levantamento. O instrumento utilizado nesta pesquisa foi o Questionário de Regulamentação do Exercício (BREQ-3) para determinar o nível de motivação para o exercício e o The World Health Organization Quality of Life (WHOQOL)-BREF para determinar a qualidade de vida. Os questionários foram distribuídos no período de 25 de novembro de 2023 a 5 de janeiro de 2024. A técnica de análise de dados utiliza correlação simples. Os resultados apresentam valor de significância < 0,005, ou seja, está correlacionado ou relacionado. O valor de correlação entre motivação para exercício e qualidade de vida é 0,974, o valor de correlação é > da tabela r. Isso significa que existe uma relação positiva entre motivação para praticar exercícios e qualidade de vida. Dessa forma, pode-se concluir que quanto maior a motivação dos atletas aposentados para treinar, melhor será a qualidade de vida dos ex-atletas.
