Este estudo tem como objetivo analisar a autoconfiança de atletas de basquete, tênis, badminton e tiro com arco em cadeira de rodas. Este estudo utiliza uma abordagem de análise de regressão moderada (MRA), ou seja, o desempenho do treinamento como variável independente, a autoconfiança como variável dependente e a intimidade treinador-atleta como moderadora. A amostragem foi realizada por amostragem total no campeonato torneio aberto. Os atletas cadeirantes envolvidos foram 20 atletas de basquete, 15 atletas de tênis, 15 atletas de badminton e 15 atletas de arco e flecha com idade de 29,98 ± 2,4 anos e 11,37 ± 1,2 anos de treinamento. A maior experiência da competição é que já participaram 37 atletas a nível nacional e internacional. Este estudo foi realizado durante seis meses, do início de junho a novembro de 2023. Os dados foram coletados por meio de questionários confirmados antes do jogo e entrevistas semiestruturadas para fortalecer a discussão. O instrumento é composto por 57 itens e obteve-se um valor de validade de V de Aiken de 0,863 e Alfa de Cronbach de 0,708. Os resultados mostraram que o desempenho do treinamento influenciou a autoconfiança (sig. 0,003 ou p<0,05) e (R2 = 12,8%). Enquanto isso, a intimidade treinador-atleta pode moderar positivamente o desempenho treinador-atleta com autoconfiança (sig. 0,000 ou p<0,05) e (R2 = 47,2%). Os resultados deste estudo sugerem o envolvimento de agências governamentais para incentivar, desenvolver e facilitar todas as pessoas com necessidades especiais. Além disso, é necessário aumentar a competência dos treinadores através de uma formação especial ou da abertura de um programa de estudos para formar pessoas com deficiência na universidade. Pesquisas futuras devem considerar o número de amostras envolvidas e como coletar dados com um desenho de pesquisa adaptado às circunstâncias, mas que possa produzir dados precisos.
