Resumo

Os jogos reduzidos (SSGs) são disputados em áreas de campo reduzidas, muitas vezes usando regras modificadas e envolvendo um número menor de jogadores do que o futebol tradicional. Esses jogos são menos estruturados do que os métodos tradicionais de treinamento físico, mas são exercícios de treinamento muito populares para jogadores de todas as idades e níveis. Actualmente, há relativamente pouca informação sobre a melhor forma de utilizar os SSG para melhorar as capacidades físicas e as competências técnicas ou tácticas dos jogadores de futebol. Contudo, muitas variáveis ​​prescritivas controladas pelo treinador podem influenciar a intensidade do exercício durante os SSGs. No contexto do ensino de futebol, os SSGs são frequentemente utilizados para fornecer um método envolvente de preservar a dinâmica de um jogo oficial, ao mesmo tempo que fazem alterações específicas para se concentrarem em determinados comportamentos e movimentos. Os modelos de coaching fornecem alguns insights e orientações sobre o que os coaches fazem. O objetivo do estudo é construir um modelo de processo de coaching baseado na abordagem “Small Sided Game”. O método qualitativo foi conduzido neste estudo. O investigador utilizou uma amostragem tipo bola de neve, na qual foram entrevistados 10 treinadores de escolas desportivas do programa NFDP. O número de participantes foi determinado pela saturação das informações. A variação na intensidade do exercício durante os SSGs pode melhorar com o incentivo consistente do treinador, mas ainda é mais variável do que os métodos de treino genéricos tradicionais. SSGs contendo menos jogadores podem exceder a intensidade da partida e provocar intensidades semelhantes às corridas intervaladas de alta intensidade de longa e curta duração. Este estudo implicou a construção de um modelo de processo de treino de futebol que possa beneficiar o desenvolvimento do futebol nacional ao nível de base e fornecer fontes alternativas de conhecimento para professores ou treinadores de futebol treinarem as suas equipas de futebol.
