Propriedades psicométricas do questionário de impacto da fibromialgia em mulheres mexicanas

Resumo

A fibromialgia é uma doença crônica que gera altos níveis de incapacidade e afeta a qualidade de vida; Por isso, a avaliação da funcionalidade física e da gravidade dos sintomas acaba sendo um componente essencial no tratamento. O objetivo do estudo foi determinar as propriedades psicométricas do Questionário de Impacto da Fibromialgia em mulheres mexicanas. Participaram 297 mulheres mexicanas (43,25 ± 9,59 anos) e foram divididas em duas subamostras. Com a subamostra um, foi realizada análise fatorial exploratória com os componentes funcionalidade física (subitens 1.a-j) e sintomas (itens 4 a 10), que relataram valores significativos de KMO e esfericidade de Bartlett. Foram identificados quatro fatores: dois na funcionalidade física (pessoal e social) e dois na sintomatologia (física e psicológica). A subamostra dois foi utilizada para a análise fatorial confirmatória com bons valores de qualidade e ajuste nos componentes funcionalidade física e sintomas. Por sua vez, foram verificados valores adequados de confiabilidade composta e variância média extraídas dos quatro fatores. Além disso, são relatadas correlações positivas e significativas nesses fatores. Após a análise dos resultados obtidos no estudo, conclui-se que o instrumento apresenta propriedades psicométricas adequadas para sua aplicação na avaliação do impacto da fibromialgia em mulheres mexicanas.
