Jurgen Habermas’ communicative paradigm for social sciences

The foundation reasonings supporting the communicative paradigm for the social sciences developed by J. Habermas are discussed in the present article. Firstly, the epistemological obstacles for sociology as a scientific discipline are reviewed; secondly, the problems of the ilocutionary social covenant as the constituent fact of social reality, as well as its difficulties to be claimed as new paradigm of the sociological knowledge are outlined.Downloads
