The objective of this paper is to know if the sequential use of self-administered and administered modes (face to face and telephone survey) makes changes in the questions of a questionnaire about language habits. A survey on linguistic habits carried out in a Spanish bilingual region is used. An online survey applied to the entire sample achieves a 44.3% collaboration of the sample. People who have not responded are contacted with administered survey (telephone and face-to-face surveys). The on-line self-administered mode, as expected, presents a greater use of the language of the community. However, when considering the factors that most influence this response, we appreciate that the sociodemographic variables and the place of birth have more influence than the mode of administration used.
