Efeito crônico de C-HIIT na qualidade do sono e atenção seletiva em jovens com TDAH

Resumo

O objetivo deste estudo foi conhecer os efeitos de um programa Cooperative-High Intensity Interval Training (C-HIIT) de 10 semanas, 2 sessões / semana e 16 minutos cada sessão, na qualidade do sono e atenção seletiva em crianças com diagnóstico de Transtorno de Déficit de Atenção e Hiperatividade (TDAH). Participaram 52 escolares com diagnóstico de TDAH (10,13 ± 2,68 anos). 24 foram atribuídos ao grupo de controle (11 meninas) e 28 ao grupo experimental (17 meninas). A qualidade do sono foi medida com o teste de Pittsburg e a atenção seletiva com o teste d2. Após o programa de intervenção, o grupo C-HIIT melhorou significativamente a qualidade do sono em comparação com o grupo controle (2,93 ± 1,762 vs. 6,88 ± 2,643, p <0,001). O grupo C-HIIT melhorou significativamente seu nível de atenção seletiva (pré: 42 ± 30,21 vs. pós: 64,21 ± 30,57; p <0,001), melhorando em 21,16% em relação ao início do estudo. Conclui-se que um programa C-HIIT aplicado por pelo menos 10 semanas em jovens com TDAH melhora significativamente a qualidade do sono e a medida de atenção, porém, os efeitos sobre a concentração e o índice de variação não são conclusivos. Sugere-se a incorporação de programas específicos de estimulação cooperativa e de alta intensidade em jovens com TDAH, uma vez que pode ser uma ferramenta eficaz para melhorar a qualidade do sono e seus níveis de atenção seletiva.
