Caracterização e associação do desempenho físico em jogadores de futebol chilenos com paralisia cerebral

Resumo. Objetivo: o objetivo deste estudo foi: i) Caracterizar o perfil de desempenho físico dos jogadores de futebol com paralisia cerebral (PC) da seleção chilena de futebol 7 de acordo com sua classificação esportiva (CD) e posição de jogo; ii) Analisar a relação entre as variáveis de desempenho físico com DC. Método: participaram 19 jogadores do sexo masculino com PC pertencentes à seleção chilena de futebol 7, agrupados de acordo com o CD (FT1, FT2, FT3) e posição de jogo. Agilidade (AG), habilidade de sprint repetido (RSA), distância percorrida no teste Yo-Yo (D), habilidade de salto com os testes de salto de agachamento (SJ) e salto de contramovimento (CMJ) foram medidos. Resultados: Foram encontradas diferenças significativas de acordo com a CD onde os jogadores FT3 obtiveram melhor desempenho nos testes AG e D em comparação com FT2 e FT1, mas não para o RSA onde foi apenas superior ao FT1. Os meio-campistas obtiveram desempenho superior com um grande tamanho de efeito em todas as variáveis em comparação com as posições defensiva e avançada. Relações fortes e muito fortes foram observadas entre todas as variáveis de desempenho físico, bem como para as relações com CD com exceção de SJ e CMJ. Conclusão: As características específicas de cada CD de jogadores com PC devem ser consideradas em conjunto com a posição de jogo e as táticas da própria equipe, combinando uma série de fatores que buscam atingir os mais elevados níveis de desempenho físico e esportivo.
