Dinâmica de estudantes do interior de Papua integrando a cultura local e o currículo de educação física contemporâneo

Resumo

Esta pesquisa explora a dinâmica de integração das tradições locais e dos currículos contemporâneos na educação física pelos estudantes papuas. Empregando um desenho etnográfico, o estudo busca uma compreensão aprofundada da cultura, da vida cotidiana e das experiências dos estudantes papuas das regiões do interior no contexto do ensino superior em programas de educação física. Os participantes da pesquisa eram oito estudantes papuas de regiões do interior atualmente matriculados no programa de educação física. A coleta de dados envolve entrevistas e observações aprofundadas. Os resultados desta investigação revelam um padrão de abordagens que serve como uma solução significativa para a dinâmica enfrentada pelos estudantes papuas das regiões do interior, ajudando-os a alcançar o sucesso na educação. Estas abordagens abrangem estratégias participativas, contextuais, empoderadoras, inclusivas e de apoio. Em conclusão, este estudo estabelece uma base crucial para a promoção e desenvolvimento de um ambiente universitário multicultural. Holisticamente, a pesquisa contribui substancialmente para a compreensão de como os estudantes indígenas da Papua integram a cultura regional com os currículos contemporâneos de educação física. Fundamentalmente, oferece abordagens que apoiam práticas educativas mais inclusivas, com o objetivo final de melhorar o sucesso educativo dos estudantes papuas na sua prossecução de programas de educação física.
