Desenvolvimento do modelo de imagem PETTLEP para aumentar a autoeficácia em atletas de caratê

O objetivo deste estudo é desenvolver um modelo de treinamento PETTLEP Imagery sobre autoeficácia em atletas de caratê. Este tipo de pesquisa é pesquisa e desenvolvimento com o modelo ADDIE. O desenvolvimento deste modelo de treinamento contou com a participação de 4 professores especialistas em psicologia do esporte e ciências do coaching como validadores. A amostra é composta por 59 atletas de caratê com idade entre 20,2±3,5 anos e 7,8±8,4 anos de experiência em treinamento que serão agrupados para testes de pequena escala, testes de grande escala e testes de eficácia. O resultado deste estudo é a validação deste programa de exercícios utilizando a fórmula Aiken V com valor de 0,880, para que o programa seja declarado válido. Ensaios de pequena escala em 12 atletas de caratê mostraram uma taxa de viabilidade de 80%, ensaios de grande escala em 30 atletas mostraram uma taxa de viabilidade de 86%. A seguir, o teste de efetividade utilizando o teste t em 17 atletas apresentou valor de significância de 0,000<0,05 e t 4,284. Portanto, há uma influência significativa e positiva das imagens PETTLEP na autoeficácia dos atletas de caratê. A conclusão é que o modelo PETTLEP Imagery tem fortes implicações na melhoria da autoeficácia de atletas de caratê de todas as idades e níveis de habilidade. As recomendações dos resultados deste estudo podem fornecer informações para acadêmicos, treinadores e especialmente atletas no fornecimento de programas de treinamento apropriados, eficazes e eficientes. Novos estudos sobre a importância da pesquisa do PETTLEP Imagery sobre aspectos psicológicos e desempenho de atletas.
