A glutamina acelera a recuperação pós-exercício da força dos braços, pernas e velocidade de esmagamento em 48 horas para atletas de badminton não-elite

Resumo

O badminton é um esporte caracterizado por contrações musculares duradouras em movimentos contínuos que causam fadiga, e a glutamina pode reduzir potencialmente a incidência de fadiga muscular. O objetivo do estudo é investigar a influência da glutamina na recuperação pós-exercício em atletas de badminton não-elite. Foi um desenho de pré-teste e pós-teste de grupo randomizado. Participaram vinte estudantes do sexo masculino e foram divididos em 2 grupos: o grupo placebo (Plac) recebeu apenas instrução para atividades de smash jumping e água mineral, enquanto o grupo glutamina (Glut) recebeu atividades de smash jumping e água mineral contendo glutamina. As atividades de smash jump foram realizadas em 10 séries com 20 repetições com período de descanso de 30 segundos por série. A glutamina foi administrada 3 vezes após 1 hora de atividades de salto, 24 horas e 48 horas na dose de 0,4 gramas/kg de peso corporal. Houve diferenças significativas no salto vertical, potência das pernas, potência dos braços e velocidade de smash no pré-pós-2 entre os grupos Placebo e Glutamina com p<0,05. Entretanto, não foram observadas diferenças no salto vertical, potência das pernas, potência dos braços e velocidade de smash (p>0,05) entre os grupos Placebo e Glutamina 72 horas após as atividades de smash jumping (após 3). A administração de glutamina na dose de 0,4 gramas/kg de peso corporal administrada três vezes após o exercício de salto smash (excêntrico) pode acelerar a recuperação do salto vertical, força do braço, força das pernas e velocidade das pernas. Espera-se que os atletas de badminton que jogam partidas diariamente consumam glutamina para acelerar a recuperação.
