Árbitro assistente de vídeo no Twitter: uma análise do sentimento dos fãs com base na mineração de texto

Resumo

O objetivo da pesquisa foi conhecer a opinião dos usuários do Twitter sobre o Video Assistant Referee, conhecido pela sigla VAR, durante sua implementação na Premier League, por meio das palavras, emojis e tópicos mais relacionados aos termos de busca. Por meio de um algoritmo, foi realizada uma busca sistemática em uma série de palavras utilizadas na rede social Twitter. O resultado desta pesquisa foi processado com o intuito de obter resultados quantitativos em termos de frequência de palavras pesquisadas, termos e emojis que as acompanham, bem como temas emergentes. Os resultados mostraram que, dentre os bigramas, a “premier league” foi a que mais se repetiu. Entre os trigramas, destaca-se a associação entre as palavras “var ruin football” e “var kill football”. Os principais temas encontrados continham as palavras “arruinar”, “futebol”, “foder” e “matar”. Dos emojis mais utilizados, apenas dois tinham conotações positivas. Concluindo, observou-se uma tendência de opinião negativa sobre o VAR.
