Web 2.0 and its applications in the field of Classical Philology

The phase, which the Internet is experiencing from a few years ago, is usually called Web 2.0. This phase is characterized by the development of new technologies, such as blogs and wikis, which make easy to create and broadcast any kind of contents, so that WWW has become a much open and dynamic space. This paper analyses the possibilities of both tools with a view to teaching and researching as well as reviews some of the best projects using them within the Classical Philology’s field.
