Os benefícios dos programas intergeracionais segundo a perceçao dos profissionais

Resumo

A investigação no campo dos programas intergeracionais demonstrou que a relação entre indivíduos de diferente geração tem um impacto muito positivo para todos os implicados na mesma. O incremento do bem-estar psicológico, físico e social do idoso, e mudar percepções dos jovens sobre os idosos são alguns dos resultados que são alcançados com este tipo de programas. Este estudo avalia o impacto dos programas para os que participan diretamente ne los (crianças, jovens e adolescentes) e para outras pessoas envolvidas indiretamente no relacionamento intergeracional (famílias, profissionais e sociedade) através da percepção dos profissionais que os desenvolvem. Este é um estudo qualitativo com base en dados recolhidos através de entrevistas semi-estructuradas a 25 profissionais que coordenam programas intergeracionaisem Espanha. Uma análise do conteudo da informação proporcionada pelos profissionais permitiu evidenciar quatro dimensões dialéticas: impacto em participantes, famílias, profissionais e conexão intergeracional. Finalmente, conclui-se sobre a importância de investigar o impacto que estes programastêm em todos os agentes implicados na relação intergeracional.
