O impacto de um duplo avanço digital em um projeto de gamificação

Resumo

As metodologias ativas surgem para promover um protagonismo e atuação ativa por parte dos estudantes, influenciando a aprendizagem e o comprometimento com a sua formação. Além disso, neste contexto, é essencial centrar o processo de formação no ensino superior no desenvolvimento de competências transferíveis para o futuro trabalho profissional, como o trabalho digital. Pela importância e atratividade que os jogos despertam nos jovens de hoje, vale destacar a aprendizagem baseada em jogos, onde se localizam propostas como breakouts e escape rooms, atividades que tiveram um grande boom nos últimos anos. Este artigo analisa o impacto de um duplo avanço digital dentro de um projeto de gamificação, ambientado na saga Harry Potter e denominado Harry Potter: Dumbledore's Legacy. Especificamente, a proposta foi realizada na licenciatura de Atividade Física e Ciências do Desporto, da Universidade de Granada. Para a sua análise foi utilizada uma metodologia qualitativa, com o objetivo de conhecer as percepções dos alunos, através de uma questão aberta no Google Drive e da utilização do software NVivo 11 para a sua análise. Os resultados mostram o enorme potencial de breakout na sala de aula, pois aumenta a gestão emocional, a resiliência e a aprendizagem dos estudantes universitários, sendo um aspecto fundamental consistente com a narrativa do projeto de gamificação em que está enquadrado, e que tem uma estética que aumenta a imersão.
