Resumo

Objetivo: Avaliar a arquitetura dos músculos do tronco com RUSI e revelar quais parâmetros podem estar relacionados aos instrumentos de avaliação do equilíbrio em pacientes que sofreram acidente vascular cerebral com hemiparesia. Métodos: Foi realizado um estudo observacional, analítico, transversal e pareado de caso-controle, enquadrado em uma coorte unicêntrica que incluiu pacientes com hemiparesia crônica. Vinte indivíduos no estágio crônico pós-AVC e vinte controles saudáveis ​​foram recrutados para isso. pesquisar. Os principais resultados incluíram medidas de espessura dos músculos reto abdominal (RA), oblíquo externo (OE), oblíquo interno (OI), transverso do abdômen (TrAb) e multífido lombar (LMult), bem como avaliações usando o teste funcional de Rivermead modificado (MRFT). ), as escalas Timed Up and Go (TUG) e BERG. Resultados: Os resultados não mostraram diferenças estatisticamente significativas entre os grupos para os resultados medidos. Conclusões: Os resultados indicam que não há disparidades significativas entre os lados medidos, sugerindo que as alterações musculares em pacientes pós-AVC podem ser mais pronunciadas durante a fase aguda em comparação com a fase crônica.
