Efeitos de uma época de Educação Desportiva num Desporto Alternativo no Clima Escolar, na Inteligência Emocional e na Competência Percebida de Alunos do Ensino Básico pertencentes a um Contexto Multicultural

Resumo

Objetivo: O objetivo principal deste estudo foi descobrir o impacto de uma temporada de colpball baseada no modelo de educação esportiva (SED) na convivência escolar, inteligência emocional e competência percebida em alunos do ensino fundamental. Método: Participaram 77 alunos (64% imigrantes) do quarto ao sexto ano (Mage = 10,87; DP = 1,09) de um centro localizado na zona rural do sul de Espanha. A turma do sexto ano frequentava aulas na modalidade de ensino compartilhado, enquanto nos demais níveis o ensino era ministrado de forma tradicional. As variáveis ​​dependentes foram mensuradas por meio de questionários. Resultados: Os resultados mostraram melhorias significativas na turma do sexto ano (em todas as variáveis ​​analisadas) e no quinto ano (competência percebida e controlo/regulação emocional), sem observar alterações no grupo do quarto ano. Discussão: Evidencia-se o potencial do ensino partilhado em contextos multiculturais na dimensão psicológica e socioafetiva da aprendizagem e corroboram-se as finalidades do desporto alternativo, bem como o seu efeito acrescentado quando combinado com o MED. O desporto alternativo poderia reforçar os princípios inclusivos do MED inspirados no lema de um “desporto para todos”.
