Efeito de um programa de atividade física baseado no uso de aplicativos móveis na composição corporal de jovens universitários durante o confinamento por COVID-19

Resumo

Mirar. Determinar o efeito de uma intervenção de promoção da atividade física (AF) baseada em aplicações móveis na composição corporal de estudantes universitários durante o confinamento devido à pandemia de COVID 19. Métodos. Participaram 21 estudantes universitários (10 homens, 11 mulheres, idade 22,81 ± 4,88 anos).A composição corporal, a frequência alimentar e os níveis de AF foram avaliados antes (Pré) e depois (Pós) da implementação de um programa de AF de oito semanas. usando aplicativos móveis. Resultados. As alterações observadas na composição corporal foram no índice de massa gorda (IMG) e na massa gorda (p < 0,05); no entanto, os tamanhos dos efeitos foram triviais. O gasto energético foi superior ao consumo energético no Pré (p < 0,05) e Pós (p < 0,01); além disso, o gasto energético foi maior no Pós em comparação ao Pré (p < 0,01). No Post, foi observada relação entre AF total e reduções na massa gorda, percentual de massa gorda e IMG (p < 0,05). conclusões. Intervenções de AF por meio de aplicativos móveis provocam aumento no gasto energético; no entanto, as mudanças na composição corporal foram triviais. Portanto, sugere-se que as intervenções de AF por meio de aplicativos móveis sejam de maior duração, além de serem complementadas com controle dietético.
