Atividade física autorreferida, tempo de tela e sua associação com qualidade de sono e qualidade de vida em estudantes de Pedagogia de Educação Física durante a pandemia de COVID-19: um estudo transversal

Resumo

O objetivo do estudo foi estudar a associação entre os níveis de atividade física e o tempo gasto em telas com a qualidade do sono e a qualidade de vida de estudantes de Pedagogia de Educação Física durante um período de aulas híbridas associado à pandemia de COVID-19. 19. Foi realizado um estudo transversal com abordagem quantitativa. Entre agosto e novembro de 2021, foi aplicado um formulário online a 88 alunos da carreira de Educação Física, pertencentes à cidade de Santiago, Chile. Foram feitas perguntas sobre tempo de tela, nível de atividade física (IPAQ); qualidade do sono (PSQI) e qualidade de vida (WHOQoL-bref). A análise estatística dos dados foi realizada por meio do programa SPSS v26. 72,7% dos participantes relataram altos níveis de atividade física. Foi registrada uma mediana de 620 min/dia de telas durante a semana de trabalho, 350 min/dia à tarde/noite da semana de trabalho e 540 min/dia durante o final de semana. Não foram observadas correlações significativas entre atividade física e as variáveis ​​qualidade de vida e qualidade do sono. Por sua vez, foi obtida uma correlação significativa entre o tempo diário de tela durante a semana de trabalho e a qualidade do sono. Da mesma forma, foram obtidas correlações significativas entre o tempo diário de tela no horário vespertino/nocturno da semana de trabalho e a qualidade do sono, além dos domínios "saúde física" e "relações sociais". Durante um período de aulas híbridas impulsionado pela pandemia, o tempo de tela, principalmente no período vespertino/noturno, associou-se à pior qualidade do sono e à alteração de alguns domínios da qualidade de vida em estudantes de Educação Física.
