Relação entre atividade física, autopercepção física, hábitos de vida saudáveis ​​e nível situação socioeconômica em estudantes adolescentes

Resumo

Antecedentes: estudos anteriores determinaram que a autopercepção física é um fator determinante na realização de atividade física, embora não seja o único, pois existem mais fatores inter-relacionados. Objetivo: analisar o nível de prática de atividade física na adolescência e sua relação com diferentes variáveis ​​que possam influir. Material e método: um total de 112 adolescentes (58 meninos e 54 meninas) realizaram uma série de testes e responderam a diversas questões relacionadas à prática de atividade física, autopercepção física, hábitos de vida saudáveis ​​e nível socioeconômico. Após a análise, foram obtidas relações entre variáveis, diferenças entre sexos e grupos que praticam atividade física voluntariamente e os que não praticam. Foi analisado usando Mapas Auto-Organizados (SOM) para gerar perfis de alunos. Resultados: evidencia-se uma relação positiva entre uma autopercepção física elevada e a prática de atividade física regular, aliada a um estilo de vida saudável. Os meninos apresentam maior nível de prática de atividade física e autopercepção física do que as meninas. O grupo voluntário revela níveis mais elevados do que o grupo não voluntário nestas características, além de ter um estilo de vida mais saudável. Conclusão: os resultados indicam a necessidade de desenvolver estratégias para tentar melhorar os níveis de atividade física e autopercepção física em ambos os sexos, tendo em conta a disparidade de perfis de alunos.
