Fatores que determinam o alcance do desempenho no futebol de elite: orientação qualitativa com jogadores profissionais

O objetivo deste estudo foi identificar os fatores mais determinantes no futebol profissional que possibilitam melhorar o desempenho da equipe no final da temporada. Foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com 28 jogadores profissionais de futebol (15 homens e 13 mulheres), com idade entre 27-41 anos (M = 33,07, DP = 3,32). Todos eles tinham experiência profissional na primeira e segunda divisão espanhola. A análise temática dos dados foi realizada dedutiva e indutivamente. Os resultados mostraram a complexidade existente dentro de um clube de futebol, com notável importância na coesão da equipe e na figura do treinador e comissão técnica para o aprimoramento coletivo em ambos os gêneros. Em relação ao gênero, os jogadores deram mais importância à comissão técnica e aos jogadores por terem atletas com boa qualidade técnico-tática na equipe. A relevância desses achados está no conhecimento dos fatores e interações que potencializam e limitam o desempenho percebido pelos jogadores no futebol profissional, bem como as diferenças entre os gêneros. Esse conhecimento pode ajudar a melhorar a gestão de grupos esportivos para aumentar o desempenho da equipe.
