Efeitos do treino físico ao ar livre no VO₂max, na resistência e na potência em estudantes do sexo masculino de Ciências do Desporto

Enquadramento: A aptidão física é uma componente chave da saúde em geral, especialmente para os estudantes de programas de educação física. O treino físico ao ar livre foi explorado como um meio para melhorar componentes específicos da aptidão física, como o VO2max, a resistência muscular e a potência explosiva das pernas. No entanto, a evidência sobre a sua eficácia é limitada, especialmente em áreas como a potência das pedras. Objectivo:Este estudo tem como objectivo avaliar os efeitos de um programa de treino físico ao ar livre de 8 semanas no VO2max, na resistência muscular dos braços, na resistência abdominal e na potência muscular das pernas em estudantes do primeiro ano. Materiais e métodos: Foi implementado um projeto pré-experimental de grupo apenas com medidas pré e pós-intervenção. Treinta e três estudantes de primeiro ano do programa de Educação Física, Saúde e Recreação da Universidade Bung Hatta foram selecionados através de um museu intencional. A aptidão física foi avaliada antes e depois da intervenção através dos seguintes testes: VO2max através do teste de bip, resistência dos braços com teste de flexões de 1 minuto, resistência abdominal com teste de abdominais de 1 minuto e potência de piercings com a tentativa de salto largo no lugar. Os dados foram analisados através de testes de demonstrações relacionadas, utilizando o Microsoft Excel e o SPSS versão 25. Resultados: Se observar melhores resultados no VO2máx (t = -9,077, p < 0,001), a resistência dos braços (t = -8,433) , p < 0,001) e resistência abdominal (t = -6,571, p < 0,001). No entanto, não se verificou uma alteração significativa na potência muscular das pernas (t = 0,924, p = 0,362). Conclusão: O treino físico ao ar livre melhora significativamente o VO2max e a resistência muscular. No entanto, pode ser necessária uma maior duração ou uma maior intensidade para aumentar o potencial explosivo das pedras. Recomenda-se a realização de ajustes adicionais no programa de treino para otimizar as melhorias na aptidão física em geral.
