Validade e fiabilidade da Escala de Participação de Crianças e Adolescentes (CASP): uma revisão sistemática

Introdução: a participação é definida como o envolvimento voluntário em situações da vida quotidiana. A Escala de Participação de Crianças e Adolescentes (CASP) tem sido utilizada para avaliar este constructo, tendo sido reportada a sua validade e fiabilidade em vários países.
Objectivo: este estudo analisou a validade e fiabilidade da escala CASP, identificando os seus pontos fortes e limitações.
Metodologia: foi realizada uma revisão sistemática através da pesquisa de informação nas bases de dados PubMed, Episte-monikos, Scopus, Science Direct, EBSCO, Wiley, LI-LACS e WOS. Foram incluídos estudos publicados entre 2011 e 2023.
Resultados: os achados revelaram boas avaliações em aspetos como a compreensibilidade, relevância e exaustividade, bem como uma adequada consistência interna e correlação intra e interclasse. Foi encontrada uma correlação positiva com outros instrumentos como o Inventário de Fatores da Criança e do Adolescente (CAFI).
Conclusões: a escala apresenta boas propriedades psicométricas. É necessário fazer ajustes para incluir ativamente as crianças e os jovens, e adaptá-lo aos contextos, considerando a diversidade de fatores socioculturais, económicos, educacionais e laborais.
