O desenho do domínio contextual do turismo esportivo pelos esportes tradicionais em Jayapura, Indonésia

Resumo

O desenvolvimento do setor turístico é fundamental para estimular a economia local, tendo em vista que Papua é uma região abençoada com belezas naturais espalhadas por toda a região. O turismo desportivo está bem estabelecido para aumentar a atração turística e incentivá-los a visitar destinos turísticos. Esta pesquisa utiliza uma abordagem de método misto com uma combinação de métodos integrados simultâneos. A recolha de dados envolve inquéritos e discussões em grupos focais (FGD). O FGD incluirá 13 participantes, incluindo o diretor da DISORDA da província de Papua, o diretor da DISPORA da cidade de Jayapura, o diretor do escritório de turismo da cidade de Jayapura, o diretor do escritório de transportes da cidade de Jayapura e funcionários, 2 eventos esportivos especialistas em organização, 1 especialista em esportes tradicionais, 1 antropólogo acadêmico, 2 especialistas em esportes acadêmicos e 2 figuras indígenas de Port Numbay. Os instrumentos utilizados para pesquisas qualitativas são os próprios pesquisadores, enquanto para pesquisas quantitativas são utilizados questionários. A técnica de análise de dados para pesquisas qualitativas utiliza o modelo de Miles e Huberman, enquanto a análise de dados quantitativos utiliza estatística descritiva com Aiken-V. Os resultados da investigação revelam um modelo de domínio do turismo desportivo contextual baseado na sabedoria local, na forma de competições e festivais. Estas competições e festivais são organizados de acordo com jogos ou esportes tradicionais originários de 14 povos indígenas de Port Numbay.
