O exercício físico reduz a incapacidade física e o sofrimento psicológico em pacientes com lombalgia: um estudo experimental

Resumo

O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar o impacto da estabilização sistêmica segmentar em pacientes com lombalgia sobre a incapacidade física, o estresse psicológico e o perfil inflamatório de pacientes com dor lombar crônica. Foi avaliado o efeito de pacientes com diagnóstico de lombalgia crônica (causada por espondilodisartrose e hérnia de disco lombar) tratados com estabilização segmentar da coluna. Incapacidade física (realizada pelo índice de incapacidade de Oswestry), malestar psicológico (realizado pelo questionário de saúde do paciente-9) e concentrações de IL-1, pró-inflamatório, e IL-10, antiinflamatório, no plasma e sobrenadante de cultivo de células mononucleares de sangue periférico (PBMC) estimuladas por lipopolisacárido (LPS) (realizado por ELISA) antes e no final das sessões de fisioterapia (16 sessões; duas vezes por semana com uma duração média de 60 minutos). Os pacientes com lombalgia crônica que apresentavam algum exercício de estabilização da coluna vertebral causaram uma redução da incapacidade física, do estresse psicológico, um aumento da produção de IL-10 e uma redução da produção de IL-1 em comparação com o nível basal. A prática regular de exercícios de estabilização segmentada da coluna reduziu a incapacidade física, o mal-estar psicológico e o perfil inflamatório de adultos com diagnóstico específico de lombalgia crônica.
