Desdramaticemos el inglés. Propuesta Interdisciplinar: Educación Física (Expresión Corporal) y Lengua Extranjera

La comunicación es algo vital; si tomamos el significado literal de esta palabra, “descubrir, manifestar o hacer saber a alguien alguna cosa” o “transmitir señales mediante un código común al emisor y al receptor” (REAL ACADEMIA ESPAÑOLA, 2000), podríamos decir que el educador/a es ante todo un/a comunicador/a.
El idioma es una vía para la comunicación y no podemos olvidar que el cuerpo es un vehículo para establecer canales comunicativos que ayudan al proceso relacional con las demás personas. Esta se produce normalmente mediante el lenguaje verbal y no verbal, integrándose ambos. Los gestos, la música, las señales, incluso el vestido, constituyen códigos que poseen gran capacidad comunicativa en cualquier situación de la vida cotidiana.
