Estrategias de prevención de lesiones en tenis. Una revisión sistemática

Resumen

Introducción: la prevención de lesiones en el tenis es fundamental para preservar la salud de los tenistas, promoviendo un desarrollo psicofísico equilibrado y un rendimiento óptimo. Esto resulta crucial tanto para tenistas profesionales como amateurs, ya que prolonga su carrera deportiva.  Objetivo:  identificar las medidas de prevención de lesiones implementadas en el tenis, describiendo su metodología de aplicación, los efectos observados y los aspectos tecnológicos involucrados. Metodología: se llevó a cabo una búsqueda sistemática en las bases de datos PubMed, Scopus y Web of Science, seleccionándose cinco estudios que cumplían con los criterios de inclusión previamente establecidos. Resultados: indican que dispositivos GPS, como "Armbeep Tennis", permiten monitorizar la carga externa e interna de manera eficaz, reduciendo riesgos de sobrecarga. Asimismo, aplicaciones como "Fusionetics™" identifican desequilibrios musculoesqueléticos y asimetrías bilaterales, mientras que el análisis de la fuerza de agarre revela que asimetrías superiores al 15% pueden predecir la aparición de lesiones. Conclusiones: las tecnologías descritas, como dispositivos GPS, aplicaciones de análisis biomecánico y el monitoreo de la fuerza de agarre, representan recursos esenciales para prevenir lesiones, optimizar la salud y mejorar el rendimiento en el tenis.
