Second, and in relation to the social context in which such decisions are inserted, an approach is made to the social perception of prostitution through secondary sources. Finally, the available results on the social effects derived from the application of sanctioning regulations are shown in a systematic way, characterized by portraying an image of prostitution as a public safety problem and by intervening only in the face of the most precarious ways.
