Abstract
This article analyzes a study conducted at the University of Málaga within the Degree in English Studies dealing with students of the second, third and fourth year. It deals with different CLIL projects, ranging from short historical films in the second year to BookTube videos and Kahoot! quizzes in the third and fourth year respectively. This study took place in the academic years 2016/2017, 2017/2018, and 2019/2020. After describing the aforementioned projects, the students’ reception of 36 said projects as active learning tools, both as applied to English as a second language and to the content of the courses, was analyzed and measured using a questionnaire, which was elaborated ad hoc and properly validated. The results obtained show great acceptance on the part of the students, who consider that this integrated learning approach, with a strong presence of new technologies, gets them involved in an effective way, promoting both team-work and significative learning at the same time.
