Cavernous haemangioma of the small bowel is a vascular, benign and infrequent tumour, similar in both sexes and more typical from the third decade onwards. Its most common clinical manifestation is a chronic anaemia secondary to intestinal bleeding, other causes are intestinal obstruction and perforation. Preoperational diagnosis is difficult and the treatment of choice is surgical resection.Downloads
