Anales del Sistema Sanitario de Navarra

Anales del Sistema Sanitario de Navarra (An Sist Sanit Navar), created in 1997, is a diamond open access scientific journal that publishes, double-blind  peer-reviewed, free of charges for both authors and readers. It publish research articles, short research articles, systematic reviews, clinical notes, and letters to the Editor, in Spanish or English, on the field of health/disease, including public health, health management, medical specialties, primary health care and nursing.

The journal publishes three numbers by year (April, August and December), in electronic-only format from April 2022. It is indexed in PubMed and its journal impact factor was 1.0 in 2023 (JCR). All its content is available in RECYT and SciELO, and in Pubmed Central since 2022; it is distributed under a CC BY-SA license and ), and copyright corresponds to the publishing organization: Department of Health of the Government of Navarra.  

More than 200 manuscripts per year are submitted to Anales del Sistema Sanitario de Navarra; the acceptance rate of manuscripts by Anales del Sistema Sanitario de Navarra is under 20%. The journal is a CrossRef member and uses Similarity Check as plagiarism detection software.
