Hábitos saudáveis ​​em crianças. Antes, durante e depois do confinamento pela COVID-19

Resumo

A prática adequada de atividade física (AF) e a adesão à dieta mediterrânea (DM) são importantes para melhorar a saúde. O estilo de vida das crianças foi afetado pelo bloqueio devido à pandemia de COVID-19. É também possível que o impacto negativo inicial da pandemia na saúde das crianças continue para além do período de confinamento. Portanto, o objetivo do presente estudo foi analisar o envolvimento em AF, a adesão ao DM e o tempo de tela em crianças durante o confinamento e comparar os resultados com os dados coletados durante os períodos pré e pós-confinamento. A amostra inicial incluiu 55 crianças de 10 a 12 anos. Destes, dezoito não puderam ser acompanhados. A amostra final foi composta por 37 crianças com idades entre 12 e 13 anos. Todos eram estudantes do ensino primário da província de Granada, Espanha. Foram aplicados questionários validados para avaliar a AF (PAQ-C) e a adesão à dieta mediterrânica (KIDMED). O teste FAS III foi utilizado para avaliar o nível socioeconômico e um questionário ad-hoc foi desenvolvido para coletar dados sociodemográficos e avaliar o tempo de tela. As crianças apresentaram piores níveis de AF e tempo de tela durante o confinamento em comparação com os períodos pré e pós-confinamento. Os hábitos de tempo de tela adquiridos durante o bloqueio continuaram depois. Por outro lado, os níveis de AF foram mais elevados após o confinamento do que durante e após o confinamento.
