As pausas dinâmicas podem melhorar a intensidade das aulas de Educação Física? Uma experiência docente de um aluno como pesquisador de suas práticas

Resumo

A promoção da atividade física entre os jovens foi identificada como uma prioridade de saúde global pela Organização Mundial de Saúde e a escola é um dos locais onde é possível ensinar os jovens a ler e escrever para uma vida ativa e saudável. Na verdade, as aulas de Educação Física são estruturais para incentivar a atividade física diária, mas a maioria das aulas não atende às recomendações de passar pelo menos 50% do tempo em atividade física moderada a vigorosa. Esportes como vôlei, ginástica e outros parecem produzir aulas de menor intensidade em comparação ao basquete, futebol e handebol. O objetivo desta experiência docente é explorar o contributo da introdução de pausas dinâmicas nas aulas de Educação Física de acordo com conteúdos (voleibol e ginástica) e género, no tempo dedicado à atividade física moderada a vigorosa. Vinte alunos, entre 16 e 18 anos, participaram de oito aulas monitoradas de Educação Física. Nas quatro primeiras, os dados foram coletados sem pausas dinâmicas, introduzindo-os nas quatro aulas seguintes. Os alunos usaram monitores de frequência cardíaca POLAR para medir o tempo de atividade física moderada a vigorosa. Os dados foram analisados ​​pelo teste de Wilcoxon. A utilização de pausas dinâmicas aumentou significativamente o tempo de atividade física moderada a vigorosa dos estudantes de ambos os conteúdos, principalmente nas meninas. As pausas dinâmicas podem ser uma estratégia útil para aumentar a intensidade das aulas de Educação Física.
