Resultados psicológicos de intervenções de atividade física em sala de aula em crianças de 6 a 12 anos de idade: uma revisão de escopo

Esta revisão de escopo sintetiza a evidência para os resultados psicológicos das intervenções de atividade física em sala de aula em crianças de 6 a 12 anos e descreve as características das intervenções de atividade física implementadas. Pesquisamos sistematicamente os bancos de dados MEDLINE, SCOPUS, PsycINFO, ScienceDirect, Web of Science e SciELO para ensaios controlados randomizados publicados até julho de 2020 sobre intervenções de atividade física em sala de aula com variáveis de saúde psicológica infantil, como resultados. Dezesseis estudos (14.877 participantes) envolvendo crianças de seis a 12 anos foram incluídos. Houve efeitos significativos em vários indicadores de: a) resultados de saúde psicológica: bem-estar, autoestima, satisfação com a imagem corporal b) autoeficácia e motivação para atividade física, ec) comportamento dentro da sala de aula: autorregulação, bullying e comportamento destrutivo. As intervenções mais eficazes são as que incluem atividade física integrada no currículo 2-5 vezes por semana, em sessões de 4' a 10', implementadas maioritariamente pelo professor da turma e com apoio audiovisual. No entanto, a heterogeneidade nos desenhos dos programas não permitiu tirar conclusões definitivas. Embora os resultados psicológicos tenham sido a principal variável de estudo na maioria das intervenções estudadas, são necessários mais estudos sobre outros indicadores de saúde psicológica, como sintomatologia de saúde mental. Além disso, estudos devem empregar medidas objetivas de atividade física para melhor compreensão de seus efeitos na saúde psicológica de crianças em idade escolar.
