Nova análise psicométrica da Escala de autorregulação da atividade física em estudantes universitários mexicanos: estrutura interna e versão breve

Resumo

O objetivo desta pesquisa foi analisar as propriedades psicométricas da Escala de Autorregulação da Atividade Física (EAAF), bem como sua versão resumida, em estudantes universitários mexicanos. Participaram 472 estudantes de universidades públicas mexicanas (mulheres = 57,1%; Mage = 21.447 anos; DTage = 3.405 anos). Os resultados suportam uma estrutura unidimensional da EAAF e sua versão resumida, bem como uma associação positiva com a autorregulação dos hábitos alimentares e bem-estar psicológico, e um grau aceitável de invariância de medida de acordo com o sexo. Da mesma forma, a confiabilidade do construto e dos escores atingiram altas magnitudes. Conclui-se que a EAAF e sua versão resumida possuem propriedades psicométricas adequadas.
