Desenvolvimento e validação psicométrica da Escala Motivational Climate in Dance

Resumo

Como não existe um instrumento de medição do clima motivacional para este contexto, as pesquisas em dança têm utilizado aqueles desenvolvidos para o campo esportivo. Foi realizada uma investigação em duas etapas sucessivas, cujo objetivo foi desenvolver um instrumento psicométrico para mensurar o clima motivacional gerado pelo professor de dança. A amostragem foi intencional, o total de participantes foi de 366 alunos de dança, 177 na primeira etapa, entre 13 e 24 anos (M=19,33, DP=3,4), e 189 alunos de dança participaram da segunda etapa. , entre 13 e 24 anos (M=19,41, DP=3,7). Foram realizadas análises fatoriais de conteúdo, discriminação de itens, correlação, fatorial exploratória e confirmatória. Foram obtidos cinco fatores que explicaram 64,25% da variância. O Alfa de Cronbach da escala total foi de 0,95 e o das subescalas variou entre 0,75 e 0,95. Tanto o modelo composto por cinco subescalas (CFI=.959, RMSEA=.060), quanto o modelo hierárquico (CFI=.952, RMSEA=.065), apresentaram propriedades psicométricas adequadas e semelhantes. A Escala de Clima Motivacional - Dança (ECM-Dança) mostrou-se um instrumento válido e confiável, único no gênero por abranger apenas as ações do professor que afetam a geração do clima motivacional.
