O efeito do treino intervalado de alta intensidade (HIIT) no desempenho de jogadores de basquetebol dos 10 aos 15 anos de idade

O basquetebol é um jogo de segundos. Uma característica deste desporto é a elevada intensidade, a pressão de um ou mais adversários diferentes e os tempos de recuperação muito curtos. Do ponto de vista fisiológico-biomecânico, o basquetebol é classificado entre as atividades desportivas com comprometimento energético aeróbio-anaeróbio alternado, com exigências distritais médias a elevadas de força e resistência. Com base no Programa de Treino Intervalado de Alta Intensidade (HIIT), em 8 semanas num grupo de crianças dos 10 aos 15 anos, tendo em conta a eficiência do tempo, procuramos ajudar os jovens atletas a progredir, oferecendo o aperfeiçoamento de outras capacidades importantes. , como as capacidades de coordenação, velocidade e desempenho. Este estudo tem como objetivo identificar as variáveis biomecânicas que afetam diretamente a sua evolução. Participaram neste estudo 15 sujeitos (idade: 12,53 ± 2,09; altura: 1,59 ± 0,10; massa corporal: 49,82 ± 16,78; IMC: 19,21 ± 3,98), jogadores do equipa de basquetebol “Sonia Basket”. Para atingir este objetivo, foram realizados os testes de salto vertical CMJ (salto com contramovimento) e SJ (squat jump) na plataforma de força. A avaliação dos dados foi realizada através de métodos de processamento de análise estatística. Os resultados do teste t independente revelaram uma melhoria estatística de 3 cm na altura máxima no teste CMJ e de 90 N na força máxima no teste SJ devido ao método denominado “HIIT”. Os resultados deste estudo do método HIIT mostram um desenvolvimento físico e fisiológico positivo dos jogadores de tal forma que lhes oferece a oportunidade de expressar o mais alto nível de desempenho no jogo de basquetebol. Se este método de treino for utilizado durante um tempo ainda mais longo, os resultados serão muitas vezes superiores e afetarão ainda mais a melhoria de todos os parâmetros biomecânicos.
