O impacto dos dispositivos digitais na saúde mental e física de crianças do ensino fundamental: uma revisão sistemática

Resumo

O uso da tecnologia digital tem permeado a vida das crianças do ensino fundamental, afetando aspectos de sua saúde física e mental. Embora essas tecnologias ofereçam diversos benefícios, há preocupações quanto ao seu impacto negativo, como ansiedade, distúrbios do sono e diminuição da atividade física. Este estudo tem como objetivo avaliar o impacto dos dispositivos digitais na saúde mental e física de crianças do ensino fundamental por meio de uma revisão sistemática. Seguindo o método PRISMA, a literatura do PubMed e Scopus foi selecionada com base na qualidade, relevância e integridade dos dados. Das 150 publicações iniciais, 7 artigos foram relevantes após análise prévia. Os resultados mostraram que a atividade física é importante para a saúde das crianças que utilizam ativamente dispositivos digitais. Alguns aplicativos e videogames ativos aumentam a atividade física e o bem-estar emocional, mas o uso excessivo pode representar risco de ansiedade, depressão e obesidade. O uso de dispositivos digitais afeta a saúde mental e física das crianças do ensino primário. A conclusão deste estudo é que pais e educadores devem supervisionar o uso de dispositivos digitais para reduzir os efeitos negativos e utilizar de forma otimizada a tecnologia para promover o desenvolvimento das crianças.
