O papel do exercício estruturado e da estimulação do toque amoroso (SETS) com o z-score de comprimento para a idade (LAZ) e os níveis de osteocalcina (OCN) entre crianças com baixa estatura

Resumo

Objectivos: Este estudo investigou os efeitos do treino estruturado e da estimulação do toque amoroso (SETS) na melhoria do L.A.Z. e os níveis de OCN entre crianças com atraso de crescimento de seis a onze meses. Métodos: Esta investigação utiliza um Desenho Pré-experimental com um Modelo de Desenho Pré-Teste-Pós-teste de grupo único. As crianças com baixa estatura entre os 6 e os 11 meses, com bom estado nutricional e sem antecedentes de doenças crónicas, foram aleatoriamente designadas para o tratamento SETS (n=40) e para o grupo controlo (n=40). O grupo de tratamento recebeu um programa de cuidados de rotina para crianças com atraso de crescimento e tratamento SETS. O grupo controlo recebeu os mesmos cuidados sem tratamento com SETS. Os níveis de LAZ e OCN foram medidos e recolhidos no início e no final da semana doze. Os dados foram analisados ​​através de análise bivariada e multivariada com regressão linear para análise de variáveis ​​independentes e fatores interferentes. Resultados: As características dos sujeitos, o consumo energético, o historial de doenças infeciosas, etc., foram semelhantes entre os grupos de intervenção e controlo. Os indivíduos tratados com SETS apresentaram níveis mais elevados de LAZ e OCN do que os indivíduos controlo, em aproximadamente 1,45 e 11,5 ng/ml, respetivamente. O SETS tem uma relação positiva com o LAZ (r = 0,865, P < 0,05) e o OCN (r = 0,540, P < 0,05). Como resultado de níveis mais elevados de OCN de 18,25 ng/ml, o que aumenta a LAZ em 1,91, as crianças com atraso de crescimento podem beneficiar da intervenção SETS. A intervenção SETS nos grupos de tratamento e controlo resultou num aumento de 0,865 vezes na LAZ. Conclusão: Os níveis de OCN e a ingestão de gordura estão positivamente correlacionados com o aumento do z-score de comprimento para a idade (p<0,05), e a correlação é forte.
