Saúde mental e atividade física durante e após a pandemia de COVID-19: uma revisão

Globalmente, a pandemia da COVID-19 teve um efeito significativo na saúde mental e nos níveis de actividade física das pessoas. O objetivo deste artigo de revisão é investigar a relação entre atividade física e saúde mental durante e após a pandemia. Fornece uma visão geral dos desafios que as pessoas enfrentam durante e após a pandemia, os efeitos na saúde mental e como o exercício ajuda a neutralizar os efeitos negativos. Além disso, abrange possíveis táticas, estratégias e intervenções para promover o exercício físico e a saúde mental após a pandemia. Os resultados enfatizam o quão essencial é tratar os problemas de saúde mental e promover a atividade física como elementos vitais do bem-estar geral face às adversidades. Enfatiza também a integração da saúde mental e da atividade física nas políticas de saúde pública e nos sistemas de saúde. Ao dar prioridade ao apoio à saúde mental e ao promover a actividade física, as pessoas podem enfrentar melhor os desafios colocados pela pandemia e emergir mais fortes depois dela.
