Evidência de validade do Questionário de Suporte Disponível Percebido no Esporte (PASS-Q) em atletas mexicanos

O estudo científico do apoio social no México tem sido limitado no seu desenvolvimento, em parte devido à falta de instrumentos específicos no contexto desportivo. Levando em conta essas demandas de medição, o objetivo desta pesquisa foi analisar as evidências de validade e confiabilidade do Questionário de Suporte Disponível Percebido no Esporte (PASS-Q) em atletas mexicanos. Participaram 991 atletas (homens = 66,3%) entre 12 e 32 anos (M = 17,22, DP = 2,83). Através da análise fatorial confirmatória, foram obtidas evidências suficientes de validade de construto. Os índices de adequação do modelo de quatro fatores PASS-Q foram aceitáveis (χ2 = 474,949; χ2/df = 5,39; df = 88; p < 0,01; CFI = 0,96; TLI = 0,94; IFI = 0,96; RMSEA = 0,07). As cargas fatoriais padronizadas foram estatisticamente significativas, ultrapassando o valor mínimo recomendado (λ = 0,40). Quanto à validade discriminante e concorrente, foi encontrado suporte empírico para as correlações do PASS-Q com o ABQ e o SPSS. A confiabilidade foi alta com coeficientes alfa de Cronbach entre 0,81 e 0,84. O modelo de quatro fatores demonstrou invariância configural, métrica e escalar em relação ao gênero. O PASS-Q apresenta evidências adequadas de validade e confiabilidade, recomendando seu uso com atletas mexicanos.
