Abstract. Objective: To determine the state of physical condition and body composition in students of the INEM school in Kennedy, Bogotá, Colombia. Materials and Methods: Study of quantitative approach, experimental type with a descriptive and cross-sectional scope, the population was N (444) students of both genders who were assessed their physical condition with the protocol of the ALPHA-BatteryFitness after return to physical education presential classes. The statistical analysis was performed with the Jamovi statistical program (version 2.3). Results: The mean of the variables established in BMI of 20.05 Kg/cm2, in the waist perimeter 67.7 (cm), and the mean of the speed test 12.8 (s), while the fat percentage (%), aerobic capacity (m), the mean of manual hand grip (kg) and mean longitudinal jump (cm) was higher in men; statistically significant differences p<0.05 by age and sex were found in most components of healthy physical condition. Conclusion: There is an increase in cases of overweight and thinness as well as a decrease in aerobic resistance. The study makes it possible to identify whether students are in health or health risk areas, which allows teachers to have a useful diagnosis, to create pedagogical strategies that promote integral development progressively in students returning to presential classes after confinement, having the main emphasis on nutrition and cardiorespiratory capacity and its relationship with health elements.
